TOP 5
A movie doesn’t need millions of dollars or big-name actors behind it to be quality. Sometimes, the best stories are told by people who don’t have “actual cameras” or “acting ability”. Sometimes they really only bring passion to the table.
Some of these movies were chosen because they are my favorites and others are movies that you’ve told me you love. Keep in mind, I don’t mean they’re good, only that they’re a lot of fun to watch.
Please keep in mind, movies are not sorted by “review quality” because a lot of my older stuff is garbage and I’m working on fixing that.
#1 – ThanksKilling
The terrible movie that started it all for me. ThanksKilling is a raunchy, gore-filled, low-budget horror with a sense of humor. After being awoken by some college kids on spring break, Turkie vows to murder all the white people he can get his hands on (and that the movie can afford to hire as actors). This movie is a lot of fun to watch with a group of friends.
#2 – The FP
The first time I watched this movie I was completely housed and didn’t appreciate it for what it really was. It’s a movie about gangs that fight over territory using a bootleg version of Dance Dance Revolution. I can’t stress enough how much you need to watch this movie.
#3 – The Biker Warrior Babe vs The Zombie Babies From Hell
This movie is ridiculous at every turn and embodies everything we love here at Terrible Movies for Terrible People. It’s about a Biker-Lady that kills literal piles of babies. Am I biased towards this movie because I’m actually in it? Maybe. But I’m not getting paid to endorse it, so calm it down.
#4 – The Room
The Room is garbage in an amazing way. By itself, alone at home with the DVD, you will despise this movie. In a group, however, this movie really comes to life. If you ever get the chance to watch this in a theater, I highly recommend you take it. Then immediately question the choices you’ve made in your life so far.
#5 – The Taint
This is the single best “exploding penis murder fest” I’ve ever seen, hands down.
